The Chesapeake Bay Program’s Diversity Action Team is partnering with the Audubon Naturalist Society for a special event titled Taking Nature Black. The event will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at the Woodend Nature Sanctuary in Chevy Chase, Maryland.  It will include a Green Jobs Fair from 9 am to noon.  Job fair employer registration is free, and each organization will have the opportunity to meet students and professionals of color who are interested in pursuing positions in the environmental field.  The Diversity Action Team is helping to expand the engagement of diverse and underrepresented Chesapeake communities, organizations, academic institutions and other groups by connecting them with restoration, employment and technical capacity opportunities.

If you are interested in advertising job openings or internships and career pathway opportunities, please fill out the Job Fair Employer Form and submit to the Alliance’s Diversity Communications and Outreach Assistant Shanita Brown at sbrown@allianceforthebay.org
