Indian Rock Nursery Workdays

February 28^th, 2026 - March 22^nd, 2026 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Nursery help wanted! Join a team of dedicated and knowledgeable volunteers at this all volunteer-run nursery in preparation for another growing season. This workday will be focused on cleaning soil out of old pots and arranging them into trays.

• Saturday, February 28, 2026 – You may help whenever you wish between 10:00am- 4:00pm. Please sign up for the shift that will contain the bulk of your time.
  • Feb. 28 – 1st shift – 10 AM to 1 PM
  • Feb. 28 – 2nd shift – 1 PM to 4 PM
• Friday, March 6, 2026 – You may help whenever you wish between 10:00am- 4:00pm. Please sign up for the shift that will contain the bulk of your time.
  • March 6 – 1st shift – 10 AM to 1 PM
  • March 6 – 2nd shift – 1 PM to 4 PM
• Saturday, March 14, 2026 – You may help whenever you wish between 10:00am- 4:00pm. Please sign up for the shift that will contain the bulk of your time.
  • March 14 – 1st shift – 10 AM to 1 PM

• Sunday, March 22, 2026 – You may help whenever you wish between 10:00am- 4:00pm. Please sign up for the shift that will contain the bulk of your time.

What to wear & bring

Please dress for the weather, events are rain or shine! Volunteers need to wear long pants, clothes that can get dirty, and close-toed shoes (boots recommended). We also recommend a hat, sun protection, and gloves if you have them. Please bring water for yourself.

Accessibility

Volunteers should be prepared to walk over uneven ground, bend, stoop, kneel, and do some minor lifting. Bathrooms are not available. Please follow all parking directions when arriving.

This event location is in West York, PA. Upon successful registration for this event, the exact event address will be sent to the registrant. Reminder emails are also sent approximately 3 days prior to the event and the day of the event via email.
