Board Member
David has lived in Fairfax, Virginia for over 40 years. He brings to the Alliance his passion for the environment and wealth of practical experience in obtaining positive results in environmental projects.
He received an Environmental and Chemical Engineering degree and focused his career on industrial facility remediation and large project management. As an early champion of Environmental Management Systems he spearheaded the team to obtain the first ISO 14001 certification in Virginia and implemented an Environmental management System for a large international corporation with over 350 locations. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in Virginia.
Now retired after a 43 year career, he maintains a variety of interests such as visiting National Parks, restoring a 1935 Ford truck, traveling, historical research and writing.
