The Alliance is excited to announce we’re officially bringing our annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival back to in-person in 2023! Our Virginia screening of the Film Festival will take place on March 9, 2023 at the Science Museum of Virginia IMAX (2500 W Broad St, Richmond, VA 23220).
The Wild & Scenic Film Festival is a one-of-a-kind fundraiser for the Alliance where our staff select 10-15 short films for our audiences to enjoy. Films highlight topics related to nature, community activism, adventure, conservation, water, energy and climate change, wildlife, environmental justice, agriculture, Native American, and indigenous culture. Overall, the Wild & Scenic Film Festival is designed to inspire a love for nature and activate audiences to take action in their communities through film and art.
The event will be held at unique theater or theater-like venues across the watershed on March 9 and March 16, 2023; in Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Washington, DC. Visit our Wild & Scenic Film Festival page to learn more.
