MD/DC Summit

NorthBay Outdoor Education Campus

Next year, we’re excited to host the 4th Annual MD/DC HBCU/MSI Bay Summit! In 2027, we’ll be expanding the Summit to include an optional second overnight stay at NorthBay for students who want more opportunities to connect to one another and with the Chesapeake Bay.

Registration for the 2027 Summit is not yet open. Join the interest list to be notified when registration goes live!

Key Information

• The Summit is free and designed for current students and faculty at any college or university in the watershed.
• Attendees do not need any previous outdoor experience in order to participate.
• Free bus transportation will be provided from each participating partner university’s campus (Bowie State University, Coppin State University, Howard University, Morgan State University, Trinity Washington University, University of Maryland Eastern Shore, and University of the District of Columbia)
• Meals and lodging are provided for the duration of the Summit.
