Riparian Rangers Training

May 14th, 2022 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

If you are a new or returning Riparian Ranger, this training is for you! We’ll be covering all the information you need to know about being a Riparian Ranger volunteer including invasive and native plant identification, tree shelter removal, and general problem shooting when taking care of a new buffer.

The training will take place Saturday, May 14, 2022 from 9 am to 12 pm at Paradise Community Park. Lunch will be provided at noon (most likely pizza), and there will be an hour of social/activity time from 12 pm to 1 pm. Supplies, stickers, t-shirts, and updated Riparian Ranger packets will be handed out at this training, so it is important whether you are a new or returning Riparian Ranger to be present! We will meet on the side of the stream opposite of where the parking area is, across a small bridge. Please register prior to attending.
