Since 2018, the Alliance and Maola have been building a partnership born from shared values, prioritizing sustainability across the dairy supply chain throughout the Chesapeake Bay watershed.
This partnership is committed to establishing meaningful relationships between farmers, dairy suppliers, retailers, consumers, and most importantly, our natural resources. By working across the supply chain, we build a mutually beneficial approach allowing all parties to enjoy high-quality, sustainably produced goods and a healthier watershed.

Working with Maola® accelerates the adoption of impactful sustainability practices at the farm level by granting direct access to farmers interested in implementing Best Management Practices (BMPs) on their land. The Alliance leverages public and private funding, including matching funds from Maola’s strategic customers, to provide farmers with funding to implement these BMPs. These practices enable farmers to reduce agricultural run-off from their land, improving water quality and herd health simultaneously.
