Dan is a Forests Project Coordinator based out of south central PA, focusing primarily on reforestation and water quality projects on agricultural lands. He graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in Anthropology and Appropriate Technology, and has since received certifications through the Chesapeake Bay Landscaping Professional Program, Dr. Elaine’s Soil Food Web School, and the PA Master Naturalist program. He has spent several years working seasonally on farms and with conservation landscaping companies and has had the opportunity to participate in the installation and maintenance of a variety of conservation BMP’s for soil and water quality. Most recently, he worked with the Lancaster Farmland Trust on land preservation and agricultural conservation project administration.

Dan lives in York County, PA where he enjoys gardening, propagating plants, hiking, and spending time with his family and two pit bulls.
