The Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay has many opportunities for you to get involved in helping to restore and protect the lands, rivers, and streams of the Chesapeake Bay watershed. We provide community members with volunteer opportunities through our different programs and projects across the watershed. We also have tools and resources for you to learn how to do it yourself in your own backyard. To get involved, visit the volunteer page. If you want to learn more about ways which you can make your home more watershed-friendly, visit the do it yourself page.

As a member of the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay, you are a critical partner in our mission. The Alliance brings together individuals, organizations, businesses and governments to find collaborative solutions and to deliver innovative programs. We could not achieve our mission without our Members!

It’s a great way to get involved in the Alliance’s critical work to restore and protect the Bay and its watershed. Whether it’s helping out at a Project Clean Stream cleanup site, organizing the planting of native trees in your community, or collecting water quality samples, there are many volunteer opportunities with the Alliance.

If you are looking for ways to make your home more watershed-friendly, you can find information on how to design and install your own rain garden, assess your property’s natural resources, research native plants for your home, and more!
