2025 Watershed Forum Scholarships

The scholarship gives consideration to those who:

• Are a first-time recipient of a Chesapeake Watershed Forum scholarship.
• Have a financial need.
• Clearly illustrate how participation in the Forum will benefit themselves professionally.
• Share how their unique perspective informs their approach to improving the lands and waters of the Chesapeake Bay watershed.
• Willingness to serve as a poster session judge at the Forum on Friday night and/or assist at the registration table on Friday or Saturday.

Application Instructions

Register first for the Chesapeake Watershed Forum. When you register, select “Yes, I will apply for a scholarship to cover my registration fees.” You will not need to pay for registration unless you are not awarded a scholarship to attend the Forum.

We will send you the scholarship application shortly after you complete your registration.

There are three written prompts included in the scholarship application.

• What experience or lessons learned do you hope to gain as a result of attending the Chesapeake Watershed Forum?
• Please provide a statement of your organizational and/or personal financial need.
• How does your unique perspective inform your approach to improving the lands and waters of the Chesapeake Bay watershed?

Applications are due September 12, 2025 at 5 pm EST.  

We will make our final decisions on scholarship recipients no later than Monday, September 22, 2025.
