Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay Reschedules 2018 Taste of the Chesapeake event

(September 11, 2018 – Annapolis, MD) Due to the projected impacts to Maryland and Virginia from Hurricane Florence and the concern for the safety of our guests, the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay is rescheduling our 2018 Taste of the Chesapeake event. Our new date is Thursday, September 27th from 6:00 – 9:00 pm at the Crowne Plaza of Annapolis.

Our thoughts are with all of our watershed residents who are being evacuated due to this historic storm. As an organization that partners with communities from New York to Virginia, we are concerned about the safety and well being of all those in the path of the hurricane, and we will be assisting in recovery efforts after Hurricane Florence in our region.

We are grateful to all who support our Taste event, which raises critical funds necessary to support the Alliance’s work in getting boots on the ground for a cleaner Chesapeake Bay. We look forward to celebrating with you all at the Taste on September 27th.

As always, please don’t hesitate to contact us should you have any questions. Thank you for your support of the Alliance’s mission to restore and protect the Chesapeake Bay and its watershed!
