Christell Azuaje (she/her/hers pronouns) will be joining the Virginia Water Quality Monitoring Initiative team as an intern. Christell is a current senior at Virginia Commonwealth University pursuing a B.S. in Environmental Studies with a minor in Biology. She loves being involved on her campus serving as the president of the Nature Appreciation & Community Healing Organization and of her university’s environmental fraternity, Epsilon Eta. In addition to being involved on her campus, she spent the summer interning as a Data Analysis and Interpretation Intern for one of her professor’s working on a stream restoration project in Richmond, VA. Christell loves spending her free time volunteering at community gardens, growing underwater grasses, and more!
