The Alliance would like to thank the Perdue Foundation Grant for their generous support towards our program, Project Clean Stream.

Project Clean Stream is an annual program that empowers and inspires thousands of volunteers from communities, companies, and conservationists throughout the Chesapeake watershed to come together to clean up trash before it reaches local creeks, rivers, and streams. Volunteers learn how their daily actions can have a positive impact on the health of their local communities, local water quality, and the restoration and protection of the Chesapeake Bay.

Thanks to Perdue’s generous contribution of $10,000 we are excited to expand our efforts through additional educational opportunities, outreach in new locations, and new and improved materials for clean ups such as biodegradable trash bags.

Project Clean Stream would not be possible without the vital support of sponsors such as the Perdue Foundation. The Alliance relies on this support to ensure the success and impact of Project Clean Stream each year and into the years ahead to continue to protect and restore the Chesapeake Bay.
