Sustainable Chesapeake is seeking proposals for Agribusiness Partners and Farmers for Manure Injection Services in the Chesapeake Bay Watershed.

The goal of this project is to reduce nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) loss from farms in the Pennsylvania Chesapeake Bay Basin by expanding the adoption of liquid animal manure injection and advanced nutrient management.

This Request for Proposals (RFP) seeks qualified custom animal manure applicators and farmers interested in providing low disturbance manure injection services (compatible with, but not limited to, no-till systems) to clients located in the Chesapeake Bay Watershed. If selected, agribusinesses or farmers will contract with Sustainable Chesapeake to receive payment on a per-acre basis. Sliding-scale payments and/or an upfront deposit for implementation will be considered as-needed.
