HBCU/MSI Chesapeake Bay Summit

Building Connections, Capacity, and Confidence

In conjunction with our partners at HBCUs (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) and MSIs (Minority Serving Institutions) across the watershed, it’s our privilege to host the annual HBCU/MSI Chesapeake Bay Summit! These events are FREE and open to students and faculty at any college or university within the Chesapeake Bay watershed.

Sponsor the Summit

The goals of this event are to:

1. Build a community of students and faculty at colleges and universities in the watershed

2. Support students to pursue environmental careers and address environmental challenges in their communities

3. Highlight environmental and community engagement initiatives on university and college campuses in the watershed

Key Information

  • The Summit is free and designed for current students and faculty at any college or university in the watershed.
  • Attendees do not need any previous outdoor experience in order to participate.
  • Free bus transportation will be provided from each participating partner university’s campus.
  • Meals and lodging are provided for the duration of the Summit.

In order to bring such an impactful event to fruition, we rely heavily on support from sponsors.
