SAVE THE DATE for Crab Cake Week 2020!

During the first week of June (6/1 – 6/7), participating restaurants will be donating 10% of their crab cake sales back to the Alliance in celebration of Chesapeake Bay Awareness Week.

During the 1st week of June 2019, the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay will be launching Richmond’s first ever Crab Cake Week. Throughout this week (June 1st – June 9th), participating restaurants will showcase their tasty crab cake meals while raising awareness about Richmond’s relationship to the Bay and the importance of clean water for the food we love. Richmond’s Crab Cake Week will be a great way to celebrate our city’s fantastic restaurant community while enjoying one of our region’s tastiest treats. After all, you know how people would get if we lost this local resource: Crabby!

Participating restaurants will be serving crab cakes throughout the week and using only sustainably-sourced blue crabs from the Chesapeake Bay. Ten 10% of all crab cake sales throughout the week will be donated back to the Alliance to support our mission to lead, support, and inspire local action to restore and protect the lands, rivers, and streams of the Chesapeake Bay watershed.
