Do I need to make a lodging reservation at the National Conservation Training Center (NCTC)?

Lodging room reservation (if applicable) at NCTC is made through the Forum online registration process. Any reservation made directly with NCTC will be cancelled by the Forum registrar.

Are there scholarships available to cover the registration fees?

Yes, the Alliance offers a limited number of scholarships for the 2019 Chesapeake Watershed Forum registration, lodging, and meals.

You must register for the Forum first to be eligible for a scholarship.

On the Forum registration form, you will be asked whether you are applying for a scholarship. By selecting, “I will apply for a scholarship to offset my 2019 registration fees,” you will be excluded from paying a registration fee at that time.

Visit the Forum Scholarship page to learn more about the program.

What about Friday night lodging?

Friday is the most popular night at the Forum and so lodging frequently sells out. Register early to reserve your on-site room at NCTC.

What is the Night Owl lodging option?

Some of the best ideas, discussions, and friendships are forged after the bar is closed. The night owl lodge is for those individuals who like to stay up late to network in the lodge lounge.

I am a sponsor, speaker, or planning team member. Where should I register?

Can one walk-in and register the day of the event?

Sorry, walk-ins are not allowed. NCTC is a federally secured facility. Everyone must register in advance (guest names are needed for the list, as well) in order to gain access through the NCTC security.

May I bring my pet animal with me?

Pets are not allowed on the NCTC property, however, a dog certified as a service animal is allowed.

Is a wellness room available at NCTC?

Yes, a wellness/lactation room is available for use at NCTC. Please contact Rebecca at with additional questions.

When does registration close?
