Alexis De Santi was born in Great Falls, Montana but has lived in PA most of her life, moving to York when she was 5 years old. She earned a B.S. in Environmental Science with a concentration in Marine Science from the University of Delaware and attended Antioch University New England for an M.S. in Conservation Biology. After graduating, she worked for a number of years as Special Projects Coordinator for Haverford Township, helping to develop and implement sustainability projects and manage the community’s natural resources and open space. Now, Alexis works as a Forests Projects Manager with the Alliance, helping to support reforestation around the watershed and manage the seasonal hires. Outside of work, she spends most of her time volunteering, hiking, long-distance running, crafting, and training service dogs.
