Elise Harter grew up in North Manchester, Indiana where she also attended college and graduated from Manchester University with a B.S. in Environmental Studies, Biology, and Peace Studies in 2026. During her time in undergrad Elise gained practical experiences in sustainable agriculture & food systems, environmental justice, and eusocial wasp conservation. Elise works as a Watershed Conservation Field Technician, and comes to the Alliance through Brethren Volunteer Service and The Shalom Project. Outside of work spaces Elise enjoys spending additional time outdoors with friends, doing arts & crafts, thrifting, and roller skating!
