Lohana grew up in the interior of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where she started her studies in the Animal Science Field. She came to the United States to learn English and decided to continue her studies towards conservation and pursued a bachelor’s in Conservation and Wildlife Management at Delaware Valley University. She volunteered at Acorn Acres Rehabilitation and briefly volunteered as a Riparian Ranger. Now, she is excited to be back at the Alliance as a Watershed Conservation Field Technician to learn more about invasive species and to continue helping improve lands and restore waterways for current and future generations. Lohana loves her cats, baking, spending time with her host family and visiting her family in Brazil.
