The Turkey Hill Clean Water Partnership –a project the Alliance kicked off in 2018 in Pennsylvania –is wrapping up the first phase of the project. The majority of dairy producers have already completed or updated, or are in the process of updating or completing their conservation and manure management plans. Since plan writing is almost complete, the second phase is now underway. The Partnership began working with four dairy producers in or around the Lancaster County area, who have volunteered to make improvements to their operation first. While being the first ones to break ground for conservation, these farmers are also being captured on film by Natural Light Films to tell a short story about the Partnership and to showcase what these farmers are accomplishing.
